Widely tunable Yb-doped all-fiber laser from 1.0 to 1.1 μm

Abstract

A wavelength tunable linearly-polarized Yb-doped fiber master oscillator power amplifier over 1000-1099 nm is investigated. With single stage amplification, > 8W output over 1010-1090 nm is achieved, and > 29 W over 1012-1090 nm is obtained by further power scaling.
