Abstract

We report on a 1064 nm pumped, 10 kHz noncollinear PPLN-OPO. It generates 5.8ns pulses at 1566nm with an average power of 3.6W. The tilted QPM grating improves substantially the signal beam quality (M2 < 1.2).
