Cr2+:ZnSe laser for broadband ultrasensitive intracavity laser spectroscopy is reported, with effective absorption path ~30 km in the 2450-2550 nm range. High-resolution combination lines of CO2 were recorded for the first time in laboratory conditions, with sensitivity figure of 6·10-8 cm-1.
