Development of a Mid-infrared tunable optical- parametric-oscillator employing a QPM Crystal for MALDI in Mass Spectroscopy

Abstract

A wavelength tunable OPO 2.6-4.0μm was developed for MALDI application. An output idler energy over 100 μj with 100 Hz was demonstrated with a slope efficiency of 67.2% employing a 2 mm-thick MgO:PPSLT.
