QPM wavelength converters based on stoichiometric lithium tantalate

Abstract

We report recent developments in periodically-poled stoichiometric lithium tantalate, suitable for high-power operation due to high thermal conductivity. Reduction of optical scattering and extension of effective apertures are reported by choosing appropriate poling parameters.
