Abstract

We report intracavity frequency-doubled diode-pumped continuous wave Nd:YVO4 lasers using LiB3O5 as a nonlinear crystal, which exhibit the highest 457 nm blue laser output of 543 mW so far obtained employing Nd:YVO4.
