Supercontinuum generation in photonic crystal fibers pumped by a pulsed fiber laser

Abstract

We report up to 6 W average power supercontinuum generation in a PCF pumped by a fiber laser. A 40 m PCF has produced output bandwidth of 800 nm at 12 W of pump power.
