Accurate measurement of second-order nonlinear-optical coefficients of near-stoichiometric LiNbO3

Abstract

Second-order nonlinear-optical coefficients of near-stoichiometric undoped and MgO- doped LiNbO3 are measured at the fundamental wavelength of 1.31 μm. The values are found to be the same with those of congruent LiNbO3 within the experimental accuracy.
