High power operation of a low-nonlinearity single polarization photonic crystal fiber

Abstract

We report on the design and high power operation (147 W) of a single-polarization single-transverse mode large-mode-area photonic crystal fiber, which is realized by including index-matched stress-applying elements in the photonic cladding.
