Abstract

>300 W CW operation of a diode edge-pumped, hybrid Yb:YAG/YAG microchip, active mirror laser was demonstrated. The Au-Sn soldered microchip shows 17 % drop of temperature rise compared to the thermally conductive glue bonded one.
