Abstract

Doppler particle sizing by self-mixing laser was demonstrated by using a laser-diode-pumped thin-slice Nd:GdVO4 laser. Quick and accurate sizing of 262-nm polystyrene spheres with concentration as low as 0.05 ppm in water has been achieved.
