Experimental Study of Kilowatt-Average-Power Faraday Isolators

Abstract

We designed two 20mm-aperture Faraday isolators with thermal effects compensation. The isolation ratio (limited by the quality of TGG crystals) was 24dB at 750W average power for one isolator and 42dB at 200W for another.
