Ultrafast Laser Written 102 mW Monolithic Waveguide Laser in Yb-doped Phosphate Glass

Abstract

A femtosecond laser-written waveguide laser based on a DFB architecture and fabricated in ytterbium doped phosphate glass is reported. The device lased at 1033nm with an output power of 102mW and a bandwidth < 2pm.
