We present a self-referencable frequency comb by optimized octave-spanning supercontinuum generation of a diode-pumped 170-fs Er:Yb:glass-laser with 110 mW power. The f-to-2f CEO frequency has 49-dB signal-to-noise and >10-times narrower bandwidth than free-running 1.5-µm fiber-systems.
