All-fiber Coherent Beam Combining of Two Ytterbium Doped Single Frequency Fiber Amplifiers

Abstract

We demonstrate all-fiber coherent beam combining of two ytterbium doped amplifiers with a total output power up to 25 W, stable operation for more than 6 hours and power noise dominated by the single amplifier.
