Abstract

We propose a novel encoder/decoder for encoding broadband pulses to implement hybrid wavelength/time OCDMA. The encoder/decoder is based on a two-dimensional array of fiber Bragg gratings that is fully reconfigurable and can generate codes with multiple-pulse-per-row or multiple-pulse-per-column.
