Experimental synthesis of uniform fiber Bragg gratings

Abstract

The combination of optical low coherence reflectometry together with layer peeling algorithm allows for the experimental synthesis of fiber Bragg gratings. In this paper, we compare the profile given by this method with one obtained by an independant Krug measurement and show its better sensitivity.
