Dispersive Shock Waves in Nonlocal Nonlinear Media

Abstract

We present numerical and initial experimental results of dispersive optical shock waves in nonlocal nonlinear media. The behavior of shocks and shock collisions is characterized as a function of the extent of the nonlocality.
