Abstract

Transmission characteristics of metal-insulator-metal (MIM) waveguide with the saw-shaped Bragg grating are analyzed by the finite elements method. By applying the proposed grating in MIM waveguide, we obtain the narrow bandwidth and suppressed sidelobe of the transmission spectrum and discuss the effect of structural parameters such as the width and the length of the saw-shaped grooves.
