Femtometer-Resolution Wavelength Interrogation of a Phase-Shifted Fiber Bragg Grating Sensor Using an Optoelectronic Oscillator

Abstract

A novel technique to achieve femtometer-resolution wavelength interrogation of a PSFBG sensor is proposed and demonstrated using an optoelectronic oscillator. Wavelength interrogation of a PSFBG strain sensor with a resolution of 360fm is experimentally demonstrated.
