Fluorescence-lifetime based pH sensing via multiple light scattering measurement with pH-sensitive dyes immobilized in poly(ethylene glycol) microspheres

Abstract

The frequency-domain fluorescence lifetime measurement of a pH sensitive dye (C- SNAFL-1) immobilized into poly(ethylene glycol) hydrogels showed the ability to perform implantable and continuous pH sensing with fluorescence life in tissue-like multiply scattering solutions.
