Combined autofluorescence and white-light endoscopy for improved detection of dysplastic colonic lesions

Abstract

We evaluated the Onco-LIFE Endoscopic Light Source and Video Camera in reducing the polyp miss rate during colonoscopy. Adding an Onco-LIFE autofluorescence exam to a white light exam increased detection of polyps by 18.7%.
