Compensation of Emission Light Waveguiding in Fluorescence Molecular Tomography

Abstract

We present a method for identification and compensation of image regions that evidence waveguiding of emission light in fluorescence molecular tomography. Two in vivo case studies are conducted and demonstrate significant improvements in reconstructions.
