1/f Noise in Spectrometer-Based Optical Coherence Tomography

Abstract

We document and analyze the effect of 1/f noise on the detection sensitivity of spectrometer-based optical coherence tomography systems, finding that such noise sources lead to a degradation in SNR for increasing integration times.
