Low-Cost Solution for Artifact Free Images in Fourier-Domain Optical Coherence Tomography

Abstract

We present an efficient and low cost artifact removal setup that relies on a piezoelectric fiber stretcher to generate a transverse modulation. Performing a Fourier processing in the transverse direction leads to artifact free images.
