Abstract

NIRS-monitored spontaneous cerebral oscillations in healthy subjects and stroke patients showed good correlation between hemispheres at cardiac frequency in both groups, but significantly reduced correlation at respiratory frequency for patients, possibly revealing impaired cerebral autoregulation.
