Optical Characterization of Myocardial Infarction: An In Vivo Study

Abstract

The effects of myocardial infarction on in vivo diffuse reflectance and fluorescence characteristics of myocardial tissue were investigated. Spectral alterations induced by infarct development in myocardial tissue are reported.
