Abstract

We have demonstrated a microscopic method of measuring intracellular calcium ([Ca2+]i) in the brain using the fluorescence calcium indicator Rhod2 to characterize cocaine-induced abnormality of the brain [Ca2+]i with cellular morphological visualization.
