Monte Carlo simulations of time-resolved fluorescence in two-layered model of human head

Abstract

Monte Carlo simulations were applied for analysis of time-resolved fluorescence signals excited in dye distributed in two-layered tissue model mimicking human head. Obtained results allow for optimization of the time-resolved fluorescence detection setup.
