Reflection-mode submicron-resolution photoacoustic microscopy in vivo

Abstract

We developed the first reflection-mode submicron-resolution photoacoustic microscopy system. With a lateral resolution of ~0.5 μm and a maximum penetration depth of ~0.42 mm in soft tissue, it is suitable for in vivo high-resolution imaging.
