Abstract

The organic multifunctional nanovesicles porphysomes are potent photothermal agents. Their photothermal efficacy was compared to the photodynamic effects of Photofrin® to treat normoxic and hypoxic tumours. Porphysomes was investigated as potential therapy for hypoxic tumour.
