Abstract

We demonstrated a wide tuning range wavelength-swept laser at 1020 nm for ultra-high resolution ophthalmic Fourier-domain optical coherence tomography. The swept laser using a polygon mirror had a tuning range of 142 nm at a scan speed of 18 kHz. We obtained the measured axial resolution of 4.2 μm in air.
