Abstract

Fourier Transform coefficients of absorption and scattering distributions, reconstructed from OT scans of proximal-interphalangeal joints, are used in conjunction with discriminate analysis to diagnose rheumatoid arthritis. Sensitivity and specificity of 91.0% and 90.0% were achieved, respectively.
