Retinal OCT Image Enhancement via Wavelet Denoising

Abstract

A denoising algorithm using double-density dual-tree complex wavelet transform is applied to two-frame OCT images of the retina to provide a comparable image quality in less acquisition time compared to commonly used multiple-frame averaging technique.
