Abstract

Vernier-Tuned Distributed Bragg Reflector lasers were initially designed for telecommunications. VT-DBR laser adaptations for OCT at 1550 nm and 1300 nm are described. 200 kHz sweep rates and coherence length are key OCT contributions.
