Gold nanoparticles for improving contrast in Optical Coherence Tomography images

Abstract

Gold nanoparticles of two different morphologies and sizes were tested as contrast agents for OCT images at a central wavelength of 1325nm. OCT images of the nanoparticles in water are shown.
