Recovery of brain blood flow changes from diffuse correlation spectroscopy data using a layered Monte Carlo forward model

Abstract

We use a layered Monte Carlo model of diffuse correlation spectroscopy together with multi-distance measurements to more accurately recover cerebral blood flow changes. We also suggest a method to estimate skull/scalp thickness from the data.
