Targeted tracer kinetic modeling improves the accuracy of fluorescence-guided surgery in a rat glioblastoma multiforme model

Abstract

A fluorescence-guided surgery method is presented using tracer kinetics to exploit contrast in differential molecular expression of EGFR in glioblastoma multiform. Results suggest kinetic analysis can improve resection over traditional intensity FGS.
