Abstract

Femtosecond pulse-shaping is employed to generate an optical pulse-train that achieves background-free nonlinear phase sensitivity. The static pulse-train and Fourier-domain detection enable fast acquisition with low powers (~μW). Its potential for biological imaging is discussed.
