Optical coherence tomography of porcine coronary arteries in vivo

Abstract

A catheter-based OCT system was developed and tested for feasibility of coronary artery imaging in five living swine. In this study, OCT provided high-resolution imaging of coronary vessel wall structure, dissections, and stent deployment.
