Imaging of human retinal flow dynamics using color Doppler optical coherence tomography

Abstract

We demonstrate color Doppler optical coherence tomography for noninvasive crosssectional imaging of structure and blood flow within the human retinal microcirculation. Imaging of blood flow dynamics enabled correlation of retinal pulsatility to phases of the cardiac cycle.
