Distributed Feedback Fiber Laser Sensor for Hydrostatic Pressure

Abstract

We investigate a distributed feedback fiber laser sensor for fluid pressure up to 50 MPa and temperatures up to 250°C. The protection of the fiber and the effects of the fiber coating on the sensor response are also analyzed.
