Surface profilometry with volume holographic lenses and broadband illumination

Abstract

Volume holographic lenses with broadband illumination can be used to acquire surface profiles with high resolution and without scanning. We demonstrate this operation experimentally and quntify the effects of illumination bandwidth on surface accuracy.
