Adaptive receivers for laser ultrasonics using photorefractive CdTe

Abstract

The high performance of cadmium telluride for laser ultrasonic detection is demonstrated at 1064 and 1550 nm. The sensitivity and frequency response are measured. Several detection techniques are compared using the same crystal.
