Frequency resolved optical gating of extreme ultraviolet high harmonics

Abstract

High harmonic pulses in the extreme ultraviolet (XUV) region were characterized by frequency resolved optical gating method for the first time. Nearly Fourier-transform-limited 10-fs XUV pulses were generated.
