Phase-coherent femtosecond subharmonic pulse generation

Abstract

We have achieved an optical-phase locking among femtosecond-subharmonic pulses generated from an optical parametric oscillator. The optical-phase stability was 0.24 rad in the range from 1 mHz to 1 MHz.
