Abstract

A compact, all-fiber, diode-pumped source of 400-fs solitons that employs synchronous Raman amplification is demonstrated. Pump frequency tuning around 54.47 MHz allowed signal tuning from 1620 to 1660 nm. Potential applications include spectroscopy.
