Abstract

Interactions between hole-transporting carbazole groups and electron-transporting 1,3,4-oxadiazole groups are studied by femtosecond pump-probe technique. The excited-state dynamics at room temperature is derived from both exciplex and charge transport states. Doping of the host with phosphorescent guest molecules leads to efficient polymer light-emitting diodes.
