Abstract

Nonvolatile holograms have been recorded in nondoped near-stoichiometric LiTaO3 crystal of 2mm-thickness. High sensitivity of 0.067cm/J and large M/# of 1.59 are achieved simultaneously for gating intensity of 0.31W/cm2 and writing intensity of 12.8 W/cm2.
