Adaptive spinning-disk interferometry for biosensing

Abstract

We have implemented the first adaptive interferometry for biosensing on a spinning disk by two-wave mixing homodyne detection using photorefractive quantum wells. Binding between specific antigen and antibody has been observed using this technique.
